We are a non-profit organization that cares for school age children before and after school and school holidays, we also have a Preschool for all Pre-K morning classroom. Parents should call the Regional Office of Education for more information regarding the Pre-K class. Phone 309-734-6822 or online at roe33.net . Our program offers a homework station, an afternoon snack, as well as several other engaging centers for the kids to explore and discover. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in authentic learning experiences that enhance their innate love of learning.

Our Center Director is Bobbi Nees. She received her education from Carl Sandburg, and finished it at Black Hawk College. Bobbi taught for 13 years at Bridgeway, and came here to First Lutheran just 3 years ago. She is a Teacher's Assistant in the Pre-K class in the morning. She has always loved working with children and their families to help ensure that each child has the support and resources to raise to their full potential. My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years, I have a 20 year old son, and 2 teenage step daughters. We spend our free time playing card games, and Pickleball.
Ms. Terry Taylor is one of our School-Age teachers. Ms Terry had worked for the Monmouth-Roseville School District for over 20 years. As a paraprofessional at Lincoln School, she is a familiar face to many of our students upon arrival. She has 4 children, who are all grown with families of their own. All 4 of her children attended preschool here at Lutheran. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
Ms Heidi Neimann is the last of our staff, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Monmouth College in 2016. She is our Teacher Assistant/Substitute. Ms Heidi fills in as needed, and always has a smile on her face ready to greet any of the children.
