The ELCA Sierra Pacific Synod Bishop removed a pastor of a mission start congregation in a manner that warranted investigation. This is the report of the panel appointed by the ELCA to conduct the investigation. The church waits action regarding this report. Currently a disciplinary process is underway against the Bishop of the Sierra Pacific Synod.
Update - on June 6th, it was announced the bishop of Sierra Pacific Synod resigned as bishop, effective June 4th. Disciplinary charges are still pending the ELCA process to determine if this person will remain on the roster of the ELCA.
